Barny Heath
Shop Manager
Barny is a jack of all trades, he handles many administratives duties, and responsibilities. He is highly motivated and has a host of sales experience. His smile is infectious and he is always first-on-hand to help out.

Barny is an expert in establishing strong customer relationships and improving your diving experience. If you have any questions or queries, let him help you with anything you need.
Marie Rivero
Assistant Shop Manager
Mary is an outstanding employee who always welcomes you with a huge smile. Marie will always help you out when you need anything and loves to make customers feel welcome.
She runs the shop alongside Barny and always gives a touch of color and life to it.

Angel Chirinos
Head of Boat Operations
Angel, the Captain of our largest dive boat, has driven some large vessels in his career! But none more beautiful than West Bay Divers's biggest dive. El Guapo - "The Handsome" is 55ft long and ready to take you on your next adventure.

Angel loves doing the day trips to the islands of Morat and Guanaja because we see lots of rainforests, reefs and lagoons on the way. Book a private trip to meet our Captain Angel.
Mayghan Wilson
Head Scuba Instructor
& Marketing Manager
Mayghan has dived every ocean (except the Antarctic, brrr) before settling on Roatán, and has gained lots of experience. She loves teaching the fundamentals of diving safely and thoroughly enjoys teaching about reef life, her true passion.

Mayghan is known for her fun teaching methods and frequent jokes and laughs. When she's not in the water she can be found on her laptop, making Instagram posts of our incredible reef life!

Joel Urbina

& IDC Staff Instructor
A master of teaching! Joel has over 15 speciality courses he teaches along with the traditional PADI Certifications.
He loves to dive in Roatán due to the amazing reef formations, which have created swim-throughs and underwater caverns. Joel is an amazing mentor; if you have Joel as your instructor - you will no doubt leave the island with a new friend and incredible new diving skills.
Karim Cassis
PADI Scuba Instructor
Meet Instructor Karim! He is a friendly and approachable Honduran diving instructor. Whether teaching a course or guiding fun dives, he is happy to share his love for the Honduran reef.
He knows every inch of the hundreds of dive sites around the island and is eager to share his love for the ocean with you.​
Ceci Correa
PADI Scuba Instructor
Ceci is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and Underwater Photographer & Filmmaker from Argentina! She loves to take pictures & videos to share the amazing underwater world with people from around the world.
“I like to teach beginners because I get to show them the underwater world for the first time”.
Come and dive with Ceci so she can show you her love for the Caribbean turquoise water and the beauty of this island and its tropical vibes.
Gaby Marimón
PADI Scuba Instructor
Gaby started her diving journey in Chile in 2015 and has been dedicated to it ever since. Her passion for diving took her to Mexico and the Dominican Republic and since 2019 has been living in Roatan.
Gaby is recognized for her smile, artistic talent and remarkable patience. She loves to make everyone feel at ease underwater. If you are a nervous or a seasoned diver, Gaby will give you an incredible underwater experience.
Edwin Melendez
Boat Captain - La Loca
Edwin loves being on boats and underneath them! He is both a qualified boat captain and a PADI Divemaster.
He likes being able to drop us off at our favourite dive sites and is always on hand to help. Edwin's Boat is La Loca - "The Crazy", which is spacious and comfortable.​ Wherever you go, you will not be disappointed with Edwin as your Boat Captain.
Alex Walter
Boat Captain - La Flaca
Alex, our captain with the music! Alex was born on the island and started driving boats when he was 6 years old (At least now he’s tall enough to see over the helm). Alex's boat is La Flaca - “The Skinny” due to its long sleek shape.

His favorite thing to see while we are out on the boat are dolphins; luckily, we see them often while travelling to our dive sites.
Anothony Bodden
Boat Captain - La Reina
Meet Anthony! He has been working in the dive industry since he was just 16, and loves being part of our dive shop family. The name of his dive boat is La Reina - "The Queen".
Anthony loves to ensure his customers are always safe and comfortable.
If you are ever at our dive shop you'll see Anthony... he's hard to miss standing at 6ft 6!

If you need any help while on our dive boat - "El Guapo"... Coby is your man! Coby was born on the island of Roatan, and has been working on boats as a deckhand since he was only 15 years old. He has had a great deal of experience on both fishing and diving vessels. His favorite part of the job is making sure all of our customers get on and off the boat safely and comfortably!​
Meet Charlie! No matter what, Charlie is always around to help load the boats, fill our tanks, and run all sorts of maintenance around our dive centre.
So next time you see your air is at 3,000 psi and you're ready to go diving - think of our friend Charlie!

Juan, our amazing photographer! Juan comes from a remote town in Argentina, surrounded by beaches, which makes him feel very at home being in Roatan.
​
Juan's goal for you is to provide an action sport service, to capture the best moments of divers in contact with marine life. Juan says - "photography is about capturing moments, and underwater these moments are unique and unrepeatable, that's why I love the magic of my work". Take a dive with Juan and his camera and trust us, you won't regret it!​
